COLLEAGUES of local government councillor Anil Baliram are rallying around him in prayer and support, describing him as a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly in the execution of his duties.
Baliram, the local government councillor for Freeport/ Chickland, was hospitalised in a critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH) after an incident at his home on Sunday morning. Police suspect he had attempted suicide.
