Attorney-at-law Shannan Clarke has expressed delight over the acquittal of her client Roge Stubbs in the Home Circuit Court Wednesday on possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition charges.
“I am happy that he’s free. He has maintained his innocence from the inception. I am glad that he can now move on with his life,” Clarke told the Jamaica Observer on Friday morning.
It was alleged that on December 25, 2022, about 2:30am, Kingston Western cops stopped a motor vehicle with five occupants. Further allegation is that one of the occupants threw a firearm out the window.
