(Kaieteur News) – The government is procuring an additional 15 dialysis machines as it moves to expand access to kidney treatment across the country, the Ministry of Finance’s 2026 mid-year report has disclosed.
The report stated that all dialysis machines at the six new regional hospitals are expected to be fully operational by the end of the year, while the additional 15 machines are being procured to provide services to patients.
The report did not identify where the 15 machines will be placed.
