Trinidad and Tobago is facing a literacy crisis.
This according to Adult Literacy Tutors Association (ALTA) founder and coordinator Paula Lucie-Smith.
Lucie-Smith says thousands of citizens continue to struggle with reading and writing, while stigma keeps many more from seeking help.
