Sport tourism revival in Couva South, says Padarath

The gov­ern­ment says Sport tourism re­mains a key fo­cus of its eco­nom­ic di­ver­si­fi­ca­tion plans, with re­newed at­ten­tion be­ing paid to Cou­va South’s his­toric sport­ing fa­cil­i­ties.

On a re­cent tour of Gilbert Park in Point Lisas and the Sevil­la Club at Brechin Cas­tle, Min­is­ter of Pub­lic Util­i­ties and Cou­va South MP Bar­ry Padarath joined Sports Min­is­ter Phillip Watts to as­sess the con­di­tion of two venues cen­tral to Cen­tral Trinidad’s sport­ing her­itage.
