A woman, charged with attempting to murder a 13-year-old boy, after he consumed poison, had the case against her discontinued.
Truckdriver Hema Manbodhsingh, 43 of New Grant was acquitted on charges that she attempted to murder the boy, exposed him to danger and maliciously administered a poisonous substance to endanger his life.
When the case came up for hearing before Master Rhea Libert, it was indicated that Director of Public Prosecution’s office had entered a nolle prosequi, discontinuing the case.
