The government will not let the complaint against Landmark TT filed with the Office of the Procurement Regulation hinder its plans for the development projects earmarked by the company.
Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath gave the commitment at the launch of bmobile’s 2026 Future Leaders Internship Programme on Thursday.
“We have very little concerns in terms of identifying with what the OPR has raised. However, as I said, due process will be followed, but we are very confident that the project will go full speed ahead because the Minister definitely did dot his i’s and cross the t’s in these matters. And the Opposition seems to be on the part of creating a lot of hysteria and noise with the hope that it will bring them some sort of political currency.”
