With the new school term just a few days away, several parents are flocking to stores in Bridgetown to make their final back-to-school purchases.
Managing director of Abeds Barbados in Swan Street, Eddy Abed said back-to-school shopping was delayed this year due to shipment issues, with merchandise not arriving until between the first and second week of July with the last of it arriving between the first and second week of August to distribute to customers.
He noted, however, that customers were understanding of the situation.
