House Speaker Jagdeo Singh yesterday dismissed three motions of privilege filed by parliamentarians, and urged members to watch their conduct and exercise caution when exchanging comments.
“The privilege of sitting in this House places on you a responsibility to conduct yourself in moderation, order and decorum and such a manner to exemplify a productive and respectful debate to the citizens of the country,” Singh said.
He implored members to exercise caution, adding that if they want to have private conversations, they should turn off their microphones.
