PNM chairman Marvin Gonzales says the opposition will not be taking “the bait” being offered by the UNC to influence public opinion on the firing of Cepep workers and contractors before this matter is determined by the court.
Party lady vice-chairman Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly called on workers who were fired from Cepep and other programmes since the UNC won the April 28 general election, to go to the relevant state agencies and access the relief which the government is supposed to provide them under the law.
They made these comments at a news conference at the Opposition Leader’s Office, Charles Street, Port of Spain, on July 16.
