A MAYARO man who was missing since Friday was found dead along the shoreline at St Ann’s Beach on Sunday morning.
Claytus Phillip, 42, of Cedar Groove Road, was identified by his girlfriend after police responded to a report of a body at the beach in St Ann’s Village around 6 a.m.
According to a police report, PCs Eccles, Francois and Ramoutar visited the scene and found Phillip lying motionless on his back. Police said no marks of violence were observed on his body and have thus far classified the report as a drowning.
