Search efĀforts conĀtinĀue for a fishĀing pirogue that left ToĀbaĀgo earĀliĀer this month for St VinĀcent and the Grenadines, but the Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo Coast Guard says there have been no conĀfirmed sightĀings of the vesĀsel or its crew.
In an upĀdate on ThursĀday, the Coast Guard said coĀorĀdiĀnatĀed reĀgionĀal searchĀes reĀmain unĀderĀway for the 29-foot pirogue āKamĀpaiā, which deĀpartĀed BucĀcoo, ToĀbaĀgo, around 1:30 pm on March 2, 2026, bound for Union IsĀland.
The vesĀsel nevĀer reached its desĀtiĀnaĀtion.
