Some 21 people were arrested yesterday during coordinated State of Emergency (SoE) operations across the northern and southern policing divisions, with 11 suspects held for gang-related offences.
According to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), between 3 pm and 7 pm on Thursday 24 July 2025, officers from the Arima Criminal Investigations Department, Guard and Emergency Branch, and the Municipal Police conducted an intelligence-led exercise in Arima, Wallerfield, Guanapo, and Malabar.
The 11 suspects—who ranged in age from 19 to 44 years—were arrested in connection with ongoing gang activity in the Northern Division.
