A Dri­ving Un­der the In­flu­ence (DUI) op­er­a­tion in Port of Spain be­tween 11:30 p.m. on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 10, 2025, and 5:30 a.m. on Sat­ur­day, Oc­to­ber 11, 2025, re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of eleven peo­ple aged be­tween 23 and 49 for ex­ceed­ing the le­gal al­co­hol lim­it while dri­ving. Ten of those ar­rest­ed were men and one was a woman.

They in­clud­ed a labour­er, an in­ven­to­ry spe­cial­ist, a dye cut­ting as­sis­tant, a fu­ner­al di­rec­tor, a clerk at the In­land Rev­enue, a con­trac­tor, a pump at­ten­dant, a ma­chin­ery ser­vice­man, a man­ag­er, a sales­man, and an em­ploy­ee of the Min­istry of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty.

Twelve elec­tron­ic fixed penal­ty no­tices for var­i­ous traf­fic of­fences were al­so is­sued. This sum­ma­ry re­flects all in­for­ma­tion pro­vid­ed by the po­lice.
