A Driving Under the Influence (DUI) operation in Port of Spain between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, and 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, resulted in the arrest of eleven people aged between 23 and 49 for exceeding the legal alcohol limit while driving. Ten of those arrested were men and one was a woman.
They included a labourer, an inventory specialist, a dye cutting assistant, a funeral director, a clerk at the Inland Revenue, a contractor, a pump attendant, a machinery serviceman, a manager, a salesman, and an employee of the Ministry of National Security.
Twelve electronic fixed penalty notices for various traffic offences were also issued. This summary reflects all information provided by the police.
