Police have launched an investigation into a report of sexual assault involving a 21-year-old woman who alleges she was attacked in the early hours of Sunday morning by her former partner.
According to police, the woman reported that around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, she was asleep at her home when she was awakened by a loud noise. Upon checking, she discovered her ex-boyfriend inside her bedroom.
The suspect allegedly forced the woman to perform a sexual act under duress, during which she reportedly bit him on his private part in self-defense, drawing blood. She told police that he then raped and physically assaulted her by choking and threatening her.
