ARIMA police have launched an investigation into the reported rape of a 25-year-old woman.

According to police, the woman was standing outside of her home in Wallerfield around 12.30 a.m. on Sunday, when she became involved in a verbal altercation with a neighbour.

During this time, her ex-boyfriend, who lived with her at the same address, exited the home, approached her, lifted her over his shoulder, and carried her back inside the residence.
