Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar will at­tend to­day’s fu­ner­al ser­vice for mur­dered Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress (UNC) coun­cil­lor Romona Vic­tor at Ir­win Park Sport­ing Com­plex in Siparia.

Vic­tor, 36, and her com­mon-law hus­band, Rod­ney Ram­sumair, 45, were found dead in their home on Sun­day.

An au­top­sy re­vealed Vic­tor died from blunt force trau­ma to the head and neck, while Ram­sumair died from poi­son­ing. Ram­sumair left a note apol­o­gis­ing and say­ing he could not live with­out her.
