Days after Elton Jacob went missing from his Princes Town home, his decomposing body was found in bushy area on Saturday.

Jacob, 57, was found around 4 p.m. after a farmer became aware of a stench coming from under a bamboo patch, about three kilometres from Jacob’s Bronte Village, Princes Town, home.

Jacob’s wife, Savitri Jacob, 51, with whom he would have celebrated 22 years of marriage next month, said that over the past days she was waiting with hope, sitting on the mattress he would usually occupy, expecting to see her husband come home.
