PORTLAND, Jamaica âAfter more than US$1 million was invested in renovations and structural upgrades, Da Villa Juanita is back on the tourism market, reopening its 19-room property in Hectorâs River, Portland, following a prolonged closure triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Management said the shutdown was used to carry out major improvements and prepare the property for its return to the hospitality sector.
The property, located near Happy Grove High School, first opened in 2019 but suspended operations in 2020 as the pandemic disrupted travel and the hospitality sector.
