Prime Minister Stuart Young announced that the latest People’s National Movement (PNM) scientific poll has revealed that the party can win key marginal areas in the April 28 general election.
“Our poll says the UNC (United National Congress) is under pressure in San Juan/Barataria, in Chaguanas East, in Mayaro, in Cumuto/Manzanilla. The UNC are on the back foot in those seats that they hold,” Young told the crowd at the St Mary's Government Primary School on Saturday night. He added that the “sweetest part of it all” was that the poll also showed that, once there is focus, Moruga/Tableland will also be the PNM’s.
“It is ours, bring it home. They have given up, bring it home,” he told the exuberant gathering.
