With only eight applications received so far, police are warning bandleaders they have one week to get Carnival passes for their trucks.
Carnival gold commander ACP Richard Smith said with the deadline looming, police are concerned they have received so few applications compared to last year.
“Normally around this time we would see approximately 300 to 400 applicants already by people who have to get permits for their trucks and other vehicles that would be on the entourage for their bands.
