One Caribbean Media group (OCM), the parent company of Trinidad Express Newspapers and CCN TV6, has led Trinidad and Tobago in nominations for this year’s Caribbean Broadcast Union (CBU) Media Awards.

Both the Express and CCN TV6 received a total of 39 nominations for the regional journalism awards ceremony, which will this year be held in Bridgetown, Barbados, on August 20.

The majority of these nominations were within the print and digital categories, with at least three attributed to television—including Best News, Investigative, and Best Production on Land Degradation Neutrality.
