TWO people are now in police custody relative to Wednesday’s brazen attempted ATM robbery in Plymouth, Tobago.
On June 24, five men using a stolen backhoe and a truck attempted to cart off an ATM machine in the village of Plymouth shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, one wearing a costume similar to comic book character Batman; however, those attempts failed. The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media.
Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine in commenting on the matter yesterday told the Express he hoped people would be charged in the case as investigations continue.
