Former housing minister Dr Roodal Moonilal has said that Prime Minister Stuart Young has demonstrated a lack of judgment in selecting Adrian Leonce as Housing Minister.

In a statement yesterday, Moonilal said it appears that Leonce, the newly-appointed Housing and Urban Development Minister, did not undertake due diligence and cross-checking or properly vetting a person of great interest to law enforcement agencies across continents.

While Leonce’s involvement reveals his “lack of judgment and prudence”, Moonilal said Young has shown a “treasonable lack of judgment”, as he would have been aware of Leonce’s matter.
