Massy Cat selling Caterpillar dealership

Construction equipment supplier Massy Cat is selling its Caterpillar dealership to Machinery Corporation Motors Limited (“MACORP”) a locally registered subsidiary of Machinery Corporation of America, Inc., industry sources have confirmed.

Sources indicate that the trade union representing employees has already been advised of this development and a staff meeting is being held today at Chaguanas-based Massy Cat.

Massy also operates a Shell dealership and a truck dealership on the same compound as the Caterpillar dealership.
