Police discovered the body of a woman under a bridge near the Priority Bus Route north of the Eddie Hart Grounds, Arouca, on Wednesday.

Officers arrived at the scene around 10:50 a.m. and found the deceased, of African descent, slim build, brown complexion, and with a close-cut hairstyle, lying face down on a piece of sponge, wearing a black vest.

Crime Scene Investigators from both the Divisional unit and the Specialist Evidence Recovery Unit processed the scene, retrieving a small can of fast relief spray, an orange cigarette lighter, and a swab of blood.
