The police's Agricultural Protection Branch (APB) is warning livestock owners against illegally grazing animals on residential and private properties, advising that they could face prosecution and the impounding of their animals.

The warning comes as the branch intensifies its crackdown on the illegal grazing of livestock on residential and private properties, following a recent operation in St Elizabeth during which cattle valued at approximately $1.6 million were impounded.

The joint operation was conducted between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, by members of the APB Area 3 Team and the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation.
