KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Agricultural Protection Branch (APB) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) says it is intensifying its crackdown on illegal grazing of livestock on residential and private properties, following a recent operation in St Elizabeth, during which cattle valued at approximately $1.6 million were impounded.
According to the APB, the joint operation was conducted between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, by members of the APB Area 3 Team and the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation.
During the operation, eight heads of cattle were impounded.
