A leaked audio recording of an alleged intercepted conversation between Star Sabga and her niece, Genevieve Hadeed, has ignited widespread concern among Opposition members, several of whom have taken to social media to criticise the leak of a matter currently under police investigation.

The leaked audio follows the release of Dominic and Genevieve Hadeed from detention on Thursday and the continued detention of Sabga, who is yet to be charged and is awaiting hearing of a constitutional challenge for her release.

According to the leaked 15-minute recording, both women were engaging in a private conversation via phone in which Sabga was ranting about Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Attorney General John Jeremie and members of the Government.
