Af­ter plac­ing third in Sun­day’s Ca­lyp­so Monarch, Seal Lots res­i­dent Akhen­aton “Yung Bred­da” Lewis cel­e­brat­ed with his neigh­bours in the com­mu­ni­ty dur­ing their Car­ni­val cel­e­bra­tions yes­ter­day.

Drenched in paint and pow­der, Yung Bred­da, re­mind­ed the coun­try that the com­mu­ni­ty he calls home is a place of love, de­spite be­ing la­belled as a crime hotspot.

“This is Sea Lots, this is love. My place, born and grow. We say love every time, no mat­ter what. I am a bea­con of light and I’m go­ing to show the world that we have good peo­ple right here in Sea Lots. And we have love.”
