KINGSTON, Jamaica – Demario Prince of Baylor University ran 13.38 seconds (-2.8m/s) on Saturday to lead qualifiers for Sunday’s final of the 110m hurdles at the JAAA national championships at the National Stadium.
Shaquane Gordon, the US junior college champion, also qualified with 13.51 seconds along with Sharvis Simmonds, 13.52 seconds, Jerome Campbell, 13.62 seconds, and Andre Harris.
Olympic gold medalist Hansle Parchment, who was running only his second race of the season, was the eighth and final qualifier after he was fifth in his semi-final in 13.71 seconds.
