THE bomb threats made between August 19 and 28 were all hoaxes intended to spread fear and disrupt the operations of targeted institutions, Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro has said.
He warned yesterday that those behind the series of bomb threats would not be able to hide behind the anonymity of cyberspace.
In a voice note issued by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Guevarro said the threats appeared to be coordinated and recalled that they targeted magistrates’ courts, ministries, a shopping mall, hotels, Government offices and diplomatic missions.
