Woman’s murder pushes toll to 279

AN 47-year-old woman was shot and killed during the early hours of yesterday morning while outside her Arima home.

The woman has since been identified as Yvette Baptiste of Pinto Road.

Police did not release the circumstances surrounding the shooting, nor was a motive immediately established.
