Retired Senior Superintendent Johnny Abraham has been appointed to head the National Operations Centre (NOC), Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander announced today.
Abraham, who retired from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) in December 2015 after a long career in the Central Division, confirmed his appointment and outlined plans to revitalise the NOC.
“I plan to bring back life into the NOC,” Abraham told the Express. He noted his frustration at past inefficiencies, recalling instances when stolen vehicles in Central Trinidad were later recovered in South Trinidad because offenders had traversed multiple police districts without interception.
