Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro has urged the public to avoid drawing premature conclusions in the ongoing investigation into the abduction and murder of Couva livestock farmer Vishnu Lalla.
Guevarro says it is too early to determine whether the incident was a kidnapping for ransom.
Speaking briefly with reporters as he was leaving the Hyatt Regency where he attended Amcham’s 29th Annual HSSE and Cybersecurity Conference, Guevarro confirmed that several people, including a police officer, were in custody assisting with investigations.
