AfÂter spendÂing more than a decade on reÂmand, a man has been acÂquitÂted of murÂderÂing a seÂcuÂriÂty guard durÂing a jewÂellery store robÂbery in downÂtown Port-of-Spain.
Kwame AlexanÂder, of NelÂson Street, Port-of-Spain, was found not guilty by a 12-memÂber juÂry at the end of his triÂal beÂfore JusÂtice Trevor Jones on MonÂday evening.
The juÂry took alÂmost the full time alÂlotÂted beÂfore reÂturnÂing a unanÂiÂmous verÂdict of not guilty.
