(Kaieteur News) – Dysgraphia is a learning difficulty with impairment in written expression that affects the ability to produce written language efficiently and accurately. It may affect handwriting, spelling, writing speed, sentence construction, organisation of ideas, or several of these areas together.
Dysgraphia is more than “bad handwriting.” For some people, the main problem is letter formation; for others, it is spelling, writing fluency or expressing ideas in written form. Dysgraphia primarily affects the production of writing, also occurs alongside ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, autism, language difficulties or other learning disabilities.
