Former Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has responded to allegations of the Prime Minister's Residence being unfit for purpose by posting a video showing the residence when he exited office.
In the approximately four-minute-long video posted to Dr Rowley's Facebook page this morning, the former Diego Martin West MP shows the condition of each room—the bedrooms, the living and office spaces and even the kitchen—which seem to contrast the current condition highlighted by Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Barry Padarath.
On Monday, Minister Padarath said the residence, which is located at the Diplomatic Centre, was plagued with many issues such as mould, leaving Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar without any choice but to work from home.
