SOME of the laptops for Form One students arrived yesterday via the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost) in fulfilment of a campaign promise by the United National Congress (UNC).

Minister of Public Utilities Barry Padarath, posting from TTPost’s head office in Piarco, showcased the shipment and said distribution would soon begin.

He explained that bmobile, operating under the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago, acted as the procurement agency, with his ministry providing oversight.
