EDUCATION Minister Dr Michael Dowlath said there is improved security on the free laptops being distributed to Form One students.
He was speaking yesterday during the distribution of the first tranche of laptops to Form One students in Tobago at Mason Hall Secondary School, “(Education) Secretary (Zorisha Hackett), we have walked to Tobago, actually we flew it across, sufficient laptops, close to 1,000 for every Form One student in Tobago. And we are starting right here in Mason Hall Secondary. So starting from today, by the end of this week, every Form One student in Tobago will have their laptops,” Dowlath said.
He said the Prime Minister championed the cause for the children of the nation since 2010.
