The Prison Officersâ Association of Trinidad and Tobago (POATT) said the recent High Court judgment awarding more than $2.5 million to a former woman prisoner who claimed she was sexually abused by a prison officer should lead to a wider examination of conditions, record-keeping and administrative systems within the prison service.
