(Kaieteur News) – With a verdict that stunned many, including the prosecution, a 12-member jury on Friday found 54-year-old Seelall Dipnarine, not guilty of the 2022 murder of his wife Tavita ‘Tasha’ Lall, of No. 64 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
The jury delivered the verdict at the Berbice High Court, where Dipnarine, also called ‘Nari’, appeared before Justice Gino Persaud.
Details of the case alleged that on 13th January, 2022, Dipnarine, also called ‘Nari’, doused his 42-year-old wife with kerosene and pushed her into the stove while she was preparing dinner at their home.
