Some 20 students were recently rewarded by Banks DIH Holdings Inc/Banks DIH Limited for their outstanding performances at the 2026 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA). The 20 students now join eighty others currently being supported through this Bursary programme. The top performers were selected from results submitted by employees and shareholders following the NGSA.
Delivering the keynote address was the Finance Director of Banks DIH Limited, Deonarain Seepaul, who encouraged the scholars to stay curious, balanced and moving forward. ”Take this award today as a token of our belief in you, go to your new schools with your heads held high and make your parents proud, make us proud, but most importantly, make yourselves proud,” he stated.
This year’s awardees were Gabriella Phillips, Demitri Chase, Nikesha Makila Williams, Angel Amarah Stewart, Matthew Kendall, Ashanti Olivea Williams, Rebecca Stuffle, Richard Junior Stephens, Roshanie Mahadeo, Jasmin Benjamin, Romesh Khemlall, Kristian Daryl Gomes, Makani Theron George, Seth Elliott Vasconcellos, Gabriella Allegra Siebs, Sanaa Afiya Adams, Nkechi Oprah Forrester, Ezekiel Anthony Singh, Bhudev Hafeez Persaud, and Shavnarine Deolall.
