Residents of Barrackpore threatened to withhold their votes at the next local government election if the Government failed to repair the roads in their community.
Holding placards yesterday as they called for their roads to be repaired, the residents said over $300,000 was allocated for the repair of the roadway along Kanhai Road during a sod-turning ceremony in the area, but they await these works.
