Busy Signal and Wayne Wonder to be honoured with Reggae Icon Award at Grand Gala

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall artistes Busy Signal and Wayne Wonder are set to be honoured with the Reggae Icon Award during Grand Gala celebrations on August 6, 2026.

This was announced by Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia Grange, during a post-Cabinet press briefing on Wednesday.

“This year we will honour recording artistes Busy Signal and Wayne Wonder with the Jamaica Reggae Icons Award,” Grange shared.
