The Trinidad and To­ba­go Coali­tion of Ser­vices In­dus­tries (TTC­SI) and the En­er­gy Cham­ber of Trinidad and To­ba­go have ex­tend­ed for­mal con­grat­u­la­tions to Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, and the Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress (UNC) on their suc­cess in the 2025 Gen­er­al Elec­tion late last evening.

TTC­SI, in its state­ment which came soon af­ter the re­sults came in, ac­knowl­edged the con­ces­sion of de­feat by the Peo­ple’s Na­tion­al Move­ment (PNM) and recog­nised the UNC’s ef­forts dur­ing the cam­paign pe­ri­od. The or­gan­i­sa­tion de­scribed the re­sult as a re­flec­tion of the work un­der­tak­en and of­fered en­cour­age­ment to the broad­er team un­der the lead­er­ship of Per­sad-Bisses­sar.

TTC­SI al­so con­grat­u­lat­ed Far­ley Au­gus­tine and the To­ba­go Peo­ple’s Par­ty (TPP) on what it de­scribed as a sig­nif­i­cant de­vel­op­ment in To­ba­go af­ter the par­ty wres­tled the two To­ba­go seats away from the PNM. The state­ment ref­er­enced Au­gus­tine’s lead­er­ship qual­i­ties and not­ed the rel­e­vance of the TPP’s per­for­mance to the To­ba­go elec­torate.
