(Kaieteur News) – The Protected Areas Commission has announced the temporary closure of the Guyana Zoological Park.
According to a press release by the Protected Areas Commission, the Guyana Zoological Park will be temporarily closed to the public as preparatory works begin to support planned improvements to the facility.
The release “The zoo holds a special place for many Guyanese, and these preparatory works are an important step in improving conditions for the animals in our care and preparing the site for future improvements.
