Laventille man appears in court for June murder

A Laventille man has appeared before a Master of the High Court on a murder charge related to a stabbing incident in June.
According to a police media release Wednesday, Dennison Nino Thomas, 41, of Point Plaisance Park, was charged with the murder of Andre Soleyn, which occurred on June 12 when he appeared before Master Indira Chinebass, at the High Court North ‘B’, on Tuesday.
The Sufficiency Hearing date has been set for December 11, 2025.
