Chief Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh, Senate President Wade Mark And Former Minister Dr Surujrattan Rambachan To Receive ORTT

Three distinguished Trinidad and Tobago nationals are among this year’s National Award recipients, with the country’s highest honour, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, being conferred on Chief Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh, President of the Senate Wade Mark, and former government minister and diplomat Dr Surujrattan Rambachan. The three are being recognised for their significant contributions to the country through the judiciary, public service, parliamentary service and community development.

The Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago may be awarded to any person (citizen as well as non-citizen) who has rendered distinguished and outstanding service to Trinidad and Tobago. It may be awarded posthumously, but a deceased recipient does not become a member of the Society. It shall be awarded only in Gold.
