The late THA Chief Secretary Hochoy Charles, advocate for Tobago’s autonomy, was posthumously honoured with the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (ORTT) last night at the National Awards ceremony, Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain.
His son, Mboya Charles, accepted the award on his behalf and reflected on the significance of the recognition.
Charles refused to accept accolades during his lifetime.
